Click on the attribute and change its property "AttributeHierarchyVisible" to false. Let the property "AttributeHierarchyOptimizedState" to "FullyOptimized" since the attribute is used by your hierarchy. This way the attribute should be visible only in your hierarchy.

Hide Attributes
Is there a way to hide attributes so that they can't be used directly when browsing the cube, but only in a Hiearchie. Some of our attributes only make sense when in a tree. So, i only want to show them the attributes in the hierarchies and levels, and not the (same) individual attributes.
